Let's brush up on some of the things we have gone through during the past 11 weeks!

Do you remember we talked about question intonations? Native English speakers often use statements and simply make them sound like a question. No inversion of subject and verb, no auxiliary verb! A simple statement with a question intonation! Well, if you don't remember this, this is a great chance for you to review this topic!

Task 1 (English in Use)

Listen to Fluentify tutor Katie say the same sentence twice, each time with a different intonation.  Can you guess which sentence is a question and which is a statement.

Task 2 (English in Use)

Do you have any questions for your tutor?  Write down any questions you would like to ask your tutor either about him/her or about Fluentify. Then record yourself asking these questions. Check for proper sentence structure and intonation.
